Just an heads up for future: you should mention beforehand that there are no transporta arriving in Aguas Calientes except the (over priced) train. This was not clear when we bought the ticket, and we struggled to get to Aguas Calientes due to the accident on the train line the day before our trip. So the visitors would be aware that on the top of tour price, they still need to consider a 2 hours train to Aguas Calientes that costs around 80 USD one way (so almost 200USD both ways). And…”

“I don’t recommend this service. All they provide is purchasing your Machu Picchu entrance and your bus tickets but don’t provide any physical services. For this you are charged double the price that it would cost to do yourself. I only purchased this service as I thought my date was sold out, but the tickets for my date had not been released yet. Additionally the communication was a bit poor and we only got our bus tickets late in the evening before we were going up.”
