Our favourite part was the trip to Sandoval Lake where we saw also a cayman, monkeys and many many bird species. The lodge was great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. They were also flexible with the food. We had forgotten to mention that one of us doesn’t eat any fish. They gave us some vegetarian food…”

We especially loved the national reserve where we saw so many howler monkeys and their howls!! He even took us on an extra night walk to find some sloths which we did!! The food was amazing by the chef and the whole vibe/stay was so amazing! A memory that I will treasure and look back on for years to come!…”

To make matters worse, we later discovered that we paid double the price compared to another couple who booked offline at a local store — a frustrating revelation given the poor quality of the experience. The guide was able to help us spot animals, but offered very little information about the Amazon unless we asked specific questions.…”

“I had such a good experience on this trip. Louis was definitely the best guide I could ask for. The days were packed and I was able to see so many wild animals in their natural habitat. I am usually vegetarian at home and can’t eat dairy and they were more than accommodating. The rooms are hot with no fans but you’re in the jungle. I did learn that people paid a different amount of money each but I think it’s 1000% worth it.”
