“The lodge was in terrible condition. Our bathroom was dirty, and although a cleaner came daily to make the bed, they never actually cleaned the room. The pool smelled awful and was completely green — clearly neglected. The room also had numerous spider webs, which only added to the overall lack of cleanliness. To make matters worse, we later discovered that we paid double the price compared to another couple who booked offline at a local store — a frustrating revelation given the poor quality of the experience. The guide was able to help us spot animals, but offered very little information about the Amazon unless we asked specific questions.…”
