“We had a splendid time during this tour! Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We felt very much like being in good hands. We saw many monkeys, birds, butterflies, even sloths, etc. After we left we had the feeling we had done every activity that you can do in the area. Our favourite part was the trip to Sandoval Lake where we saw also a cayman, monkeys and many many bird species. The lodge was great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. The pool smelled awful and was completely green — clearly neglected. The room also had numerous spider webs, which only added to the overall lack of cleanliness. To make matters worse, we later discovered that we paid double the price compared to another couple who booked offline at a local store — a frustrating revelation given the poor quality of the experience. The guide was able to help us spot animals, but offered very little information about the Amazon unless we asked specific questions.…”
